I've been accepted to a pretty good public college. I've already received my schedule and paid the deposit and everything. I've also just received my high school diploma and passed all of my classes. Is there any possibility that they can turn me down? I'm asking this because I've also told another college that was my back up school that I would be attending the back up school and their orientation is tomorrow but, I don't want to go since I won't be attending that school unless I somehow get turned down from the school I want to go to. Hopefully that makes sense....

Which college is better for a working adult National University or Golden Gate University?

I work full time and do not wish to attend a university with a bad reputation like Devry or UOP. I wish to finish a bachelor degree in business. After careful consideration I have narrowed down my choices to either Golden Gate University or National University. National University has a campus in San Jose where I live and Golden Gate University is in SF. Both offer online courses but with GGU I will have to commute to SF periodically to sell my used textbooks. I do not mind this at all. My question is more about National University, are they a well respected University and will employers view a business degree from NU as legitamate? I have already considered San Jose City College and understand that it would be cheaper but will take quite a bit longer. I am 26 years old and wish to have my degree finished at least by 31. Anyone go to either university? Anyone graduate from either University? Is NU as respected as GGU? Both schools are accreditated by the WASC, this is partly why I am considering them. NU may be more convenient for me but will a bachelor's degree from here be as respected as a bachelor's degree from GGU? At about 1600 one of my buddies came out to the plane that I was working on and got me. I changed clothes and walked out of the Hangar for the last time after 21+ yrs and went and drank beer. I hung out for a couple of days for a couple of my guys re-enlistments and then headed to my home of record where I own a duplex house, collect rent and fix computers part time along with my retainer check. Can a power company disconnect service during adverse weather like extreme heat or cold?

My home is on a shared well with 2 other homes. I just found out that the power for well is not paid by my landlord. Apparently another tenant is responsible for the bill for the meter to power the well. He has not paid the bill and the power company turned it off yesterday afternoon. It is 115 degrees here in AZ and I have livestock. I called the power company and it will cost $440 to get that meter turned back on. That includes a $250 deposit and $190 worth of past due bills, which means the other tenant didn't pay the bill for more than 6 months. Can the power company do that when water is essential to life??

i recently moved out of an apartment that I shared with 3 people. Months ago the drain plug in the bathroom broke so the lever was naturally in the position so the tub wouldn't drain. We told the landlord via a voice mail he says he did not receive and it kind of became a part of our life so we forgot about it and just got used to rigging it so it would drain without us holding it down. We realized it could have been an issue right before we moved out and naturally it was. The landlord is trying to charge us for the cost of the repair from our security deposit. With the knowledge that we should have taken care of it sooner, does he have any right to do this? It did not affect his ability to rent the house (he received full payment for the month of June, the month after we moved out) and the piece broke through no fault of our own (it rusted through, something we clearly could not cause). I don't know that it is illegal to charge a refundable pet deposit for a service animal. If it is really a trained service animal, there should be no accidents to clean up. I Wrote A Check But My Money Is Still There?

Well I have 2 bank accounts, 1 with Navy Federal Credit Union and 1 with Bank of America. Direct deposit with my job is set up with my Navy Fed account but I use my Bank of America account for almost everything. So the other day I needed to send money to my BoA account but didn't have time to set everything up for the online transfers so I just wrote a check to myself from Navy Fed to BoA.
